1. Self-reliant India campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a relief package of 20 lakh crore rupees to improve India's economy in this era of Coronanism. This package has been named the Self-Reliant India Campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that this huge relief package will provide people with facilities to work in India and it will be tried that in the next few years, India becomes dependent on itself for most of its needs. By this calculation, the campaign has been named Self-Reliant India Campaign.


2. The farmer will be self-sufficient

In this era of growing crisis of coronavirus, the biggest hit has been on the farmers. According to this calculation, three crore farmers have been given an agricultural loan of Rs. 4.22 lakh crore under the Self-Reliant India Campaign. There is no need to repay the loan for 3 months. Along with this, the facility of interest subvention and instant loan repayment has been extended till 31 May 2020.


3. Self-reliant farmer, prosperous India

In the self-sufficient India campaign, the Modi government has tried to bring more money into the hands of farmers and rural economy. The government has reported that between March and April, 63 lakh loans worth Rs. 86,600 crore have been given to the agriculture sector. Also NABARD has given ₹ 29,500 crore to the refinancing cooperative bank and regional rural bank. Along with this, 4200 crore rupees have been provided to the States for Rural Infrastructure Development Fund.


4. Urban poor will become self-sufficient

The Government of India has stated that several measures have been taken during the last 2 months for migrant laborers and urban poor people, to make them easier to live in the post-Corona era. It allows the use of the State Disaster Response Fund's money for migrant laborers, so that food and water can be arranged for them. The Central Government has given 000 11000 crores to the states so that they can work with the help of the State Disaster Response Fund. Arrangements have been made for people living in urban homeless centers three times a day. The 12,000 self-help groups have created 30 million function and 1.25 million liter sanitizers. Through this, an attempt has also been made to provide work to the urban poor.


5. Allocation increased in MNREGA

Many migrant laborers are going back to their homes in this phase of lock down to prevent the increasing infection of coronaviruses. To enable them to work at their home, the government has taken a big initiative through MNREGA. Modi government has said that till May 13, 14.62 crore man-days have been worked in MNREGA. By this date, the expenditure on MNREGA has actually increased to 10,000 crores. So far, 2.33 crore people have applied for work in 1.87 lakh gram panchayats of the country, who got work. Compared to last year, in May this year, up to 50% many people have applied for work in MNREGA.


6. New Labor Code will help

The central government has done a big job in the interest of workers by introducing new labor codes. The government has said that the new labor code can help in arranging a minimum wage of the entire country. With this, all workers are also expected to help in timely payment. At present, only 30% workers are able to take advantage of minimum wages. In addition, all workers will be given appointment letters for appointment. With this, the annual health checkup of every employee will be made mandatory.
